Developmental Plans 

In order to optimize and to improve activities in all related fields, Ahvaz Pipe Mills has always
tried to update its executive systems and needed equipment with executing developmental
plants by Development Engineering Department and engineering projects. Some of the most
important activities in the field of operating developmental plans and also final execution of
the proposed projects in Large Diameter Pipe Mills are: correction of the structure of the
production halls, storage system for the milled plates, replacing the old tack welder with a
continuous weld machine, to correct skids and pipe transfer system, to complete power
stations and panels, to erect “Roll Bending” line and complete changement of the wash
station No. 1. Also water pressurizing circuit of the hydro tester has been completely
changed. Also purchasing new equipment for powder spray and to install it in the large
coating plant, to purchase and to install complementary equipment to increase capacity of
the large coating plant to the level of 600 square meters per hour and to purchase and to
install Online pore detecting system are amongst the other developmental plans.
To erect internal pipe coat production line, to correct structure of production hall of Mill
number 3, to purchase and to install transformers and power station switching system are
among the ongoing activities for an all-out development of Ahvaz Pipe Mills.
